DIFFRACTION PROPERTIES OF A LOW- ELEMENT PHASED MIRROR ANTENNA ARRAY IN A NON-MONOCHROMATIC ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
ABSTRACT
An approach to investigation of the radiated field of a low-element phased antenna array (PhAA) of mirror antennas in a non-monochromatic electromagnetic field, based on the assessment of distribution of coherence fields of multidimensional amplitude directional patterns, is proposed. Regularities of the space and frequency distribution of the radiated field of mirror-antenna two-element PhAA are studied. The principal possibility of using local diffraction extrema of PhAA with a great electrical inter-element distance for suppression of interferences concentrated by the spectrum and direction is demonstrated.
