ABSTRACT
Results are presented of investigating oscillatory processes in a cylindrical structure representing a quasi-neutral beam of charged particles surrounded by a semiconductor of finite thickness adjacent to a dielectric (metal). It is shown that the domain of instability of drift (beam-plasma) waves in the structure with a finite-thickness semiconductor is divided into subdomains of stable and unstable states.
