Non-Stationarity of Spectral and Polarization Characteristics of Lamp-Pumped Dye Lasers

ABSTRACT

Processes of forming of spectral and polarizing characteristics of lamp-pumped dye lasers are theoretically and experimentally investigated. The calculations are based on numerical integration of a generalized rate equations set, in which the dependences of the power of oscillated radiation and gain both on frequency and on the vector polarization direction as well as presence of induced losses are taken into account. It is shown that the non-stationary processes substantially influence on forming of spectral and polarizing characteristics of the lamp-pumped dye lasers.
