Discriminating the Results of Registration of Luminous Fluxes of Different Intensities Against the Noise Image Background in Observation of Discrete Radiation Sources

ABSTRACT

A technique is suggested for identifying images consisting of a set of discrete objects against a sequence of registered images subject to the effect of internal noise of the matrix light detector. The technique efficiency is analyzed theoretically. Statistical modeling and experimental testing has been performed. An expression has been derived for the optical transfer function in the case of luminous fluxes of low intensity.
