Cyclotron Resonance in a Double-layer Electron System in a High Magnetic Field

ABSTRACT

The cyclotron resonance (CR) in the double-layer electron system (DLES) under condition of the integer quantum Hall effect (IQHE) has been investigated using the Wigner distribution function formalism. The dependence of a CR line shape upon the geometrical dimensions of the DLES and electron g-factor value has been examined. It is shown that an initial CR line can be split into one or two lines with a change in the signal frequency.
