CHANGES IN ELECTROKINETIC INDICES OF NUCLEI IN BUCCAL EPITHELIUM CELLS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MILLIMETER-WAVE ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
ABSTRACT
The electrokinetic mobility of cell nuclei is one of the indicators of human body physiological state, therefore the study of its dynamics under the action of an external factor, in particular the extremely high-frequency electromagnetic fields, is an actual task. Current paper presents the results of the study on electrokinetic parameters of buccal epithelium cells in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy and acute cerebrovascular disease. It was investigated using the method of intracellular microelectrophoresis of cell nuclei. The parameter under study is the electronegativity of cell nuclei (ENN%) which reflects the number of negatively charged nuclei in the sample of cells. It was found that varying the ENN exposed to microwave radiation (in vitro) at a wavelength of 7.1 mm depends on the severity of the disease and, consequently, on the response of the organism to an external stimulus. The results of the work would be useful for diagnostic and therapeutic clinical applications when determining the severity of the disease as well as the optimizing treatment of patients.
