Microwave reflectivity of the HTS oblique plate in a waveguide
ABSTRACT
Microwave reflectivity of HTS sample as a short-circuit oblique termination in a waveguide has been measured. Enhanced sensitivity of the sample reflectance with regards to the temperature change at normal to superconducting state transition is analogous to a certain degree to the change of grazing incidence FIR reflectivity of p-polarized electromagnetic wave under corresponding conditions. A good coincidence of experimental temperature dependence of reflection coefficient for melt-textured YBa2Cu3O7−δsample with the calculated dependence obtained on the basis of the enhanced two-fluid model of HTS, is shown.
