Predicting Radar Characteristics of Objects in the Wavelength Band Using Results of Measurement of Scattering Characteristics on Discrete Frequencies

ABSTRACT

The model for predicting the radar characteristics (RC) of objects in the wavelength band based on experimentally obtained initial data on scattering properties of objects has been developed. For the case of E-polarization of the impinging plane electromagnetic wave, angular dependences of the effective scattering surface (ESS) of a two-dimensional cylinder and a two-dimensional tape have been numerically calculated using the method of integral equations and the ESS of these objects in the wavelength band has been predicted.
