On the Weak Effect of the Rounding of Corners in Comb Slow-Wave Structure Resonators on the Comb Dispersion Characteristics

ABSTRACT
An influence of the rounding of the rectangular resonator corners upon the resonator electrodynamic characteristics has been studied theoretically. The method of comparing between the electrodynamic and electrostatic solutions is applied for analysis. It is shown within the long-wave approximation that the rounding of corners does not have an essential influence on rectangular resonator characteristics. This conclusion has been confirmed experimentally.
