ABSTRACT
With addition of some catalysts of lead salts, copper salts and carbon black we have altered combustion mode of a CMDB propellant, with a plateau burning region. This paper also introduced a method to determine the action temperature of catalysts using embedded thermocouples. With this method we have learnt that the action temperatures of Cu salt, Pb salt and combined Pb salt/Cu salt/CB are respectively about 600K, 500K, and 450K.
