ABSTRACT

On the basis of the received analytical expressions for controlling actions on an output of a fuzzy controller with triangular membership functions one has shown a considerable influence of a choice of universal set on designing the basic schemes of fuzzy controllers. Consideration has been given to designing fuzzy controllers with membership functions each of which occupies all the universal set, and the "compressed" membership functions occupying a segment of a universal set. As examples the basic schemes of fuzzy controllers are presented and the model of the automatic control system with the basic scheme of the "doubled" fuzzy controller, which allows one to provide the system speed and high accuracy at working off a wide range of input controlling signals is investigated.
