On Excitation of Self-Excited Vibrations in Controlled Dynamic Systems with Distributed Parameters

ABSTRACT

The technique of the analysis of the self-excited vibrations in controlled machine units with distributed parameters is developed. Their mathematical model is a dissipative wave equation, which satisfies non-conservative boundary conditions. In the assumption of the smallness of the dimensionless parameters, which describe the dissipative factors of the different physical nature, the conditions of the vibration self-excitation and the formula for amplitudes of the self-excited vibrations are obtained in the analytical form. It is shown, that it is possible to change considerably the interval of frequencies, in which the self-excited vibrations can be excited, and the values of amplitudes by purposeful changing of the rigidity of the mechanical characteristic of the machine unit.
