Assessment of the Current Trophic State of Lake Onega by Primary Production of Phytoplankton
ABSTRACT
The level and dynamics of phytoplankton primary production in limnetic heterogenic ecosystem of Lake Onega are shown. The causes of increasing primary production in some areas of the lake are discussed. The trends toward spreading of eutrophication over the water body area are established. There is considered the current trophic status of the lake.
