ABSTRACT
The influence of current velocity and nutrients content on the structural and functional organization of phytoepiphyton of the Dnieper reservoirs has been analyzed in the paper. It has been shown that a decrease in current velocity is accompanied by changes in the species composition of epiphytic algae, and also by the increase in their biomass. Relationship was established between the functional characteristics of phytoepiphyton and nutrients content.
