Effect of Allochthonous Nitrogen on Physiological and Biochemical Characteristics of the Fishes of Family Cyprinidae

ABSTRACT

Prolonged effect of allochthonous nitrogen on blood of the two-year-old carps and grass carps has been studied. Increase of ammonia, nitrites and total protein content, as well as hemoglobin and methemoglobin content in blood was noted. Changes of fraction composition of proteins in the blood plasma were stated.
