ABSTRACT

The survival of crucian carp and common carp juveniles under the impact of high concentrations of ammonium nitrogen and phosphates in water was studied. It has been established that the crucian carp juveniles are more resistant to the ammonium ions as compared to common carp juveniles, whereas common carp juveniles are more resistant to phosphorus phosphates. Juvenile crucian carp and common carp demonstrated significant differences in their reactions and adaptation to high concentrations of ammonium nitrogen and phosphates in water.
