ABSTRACT

The resistance of invasive species of Gammaridae of littoral zones of Kiev and Kaniv reservoirs Chaetogammarus ischnus, Pontogammarus robustoides, Dikerogammarus villosus and D. haemobaphes to impact of the heavy metal ions has been investigated. Considered species were shown to be highly sensitive, similar to the standard test objects Daphnia magna and Ceriodaphnia affinis; the most sensitive were D. haemobaphes and D. villosus. The toxicity of heavy metals to the considered species of Gammaridae decreased in a sequence Cd2+ > Cr6+ > Zn2+.
