Trematodes of Some Species of Small Freshwater Bivalved Mollusks from the Mouth of the Desna River

In three species of small freshwater clams (superfamily Pisidioidea) which are common in the mouth of the Desna River, seven species of trematodes (families Allocreadiidae, Gorgoderidae, Echinostomatidae) parasitize. These freshwater mollusks are hosts for rediae, cercariae, and metacercariae of the trematodes investigated. Seasonal changes of invasion were ascertained. Cases of combined invasion by two trematode species in the same host were registered.
