Some Aspects of Interaction of Unio tumidus and Unio pictorum (Bivalvia, Unionidae) Populations with their Parasites and Commensals


The effects of Unionidae bottom settlement composition on the indices of invasion by Aspidogastrea and Ciliata have been studied. Some peculiarities of functioning of the "parasite-host" system, provided that the strict host-specificity of parasite is absent, are shown.
