ABSTRACT

The estimation of water quality of Lake Hanka (Far East) on the basis of four ecological-sanitary indices (content of chlorophyll a for plankton, phytoplankton biomass, chemical oxygen absorption, and sediment concentration) has been done by hydrooptical methods. A possibility of qualitative waters separation based on dissolved organic matter by some coefficients of diversity has been considered. The area of dispersed phase (boundary "suspended matter/water") per a unit of water volume was estimated.
