ABSTRACT

Paper presents results of investigation of sedimentation activity of Viviparus viviparus (Linné, 1758) in the Vidsichne reservoir in the Teteriv River (Ukraine). Dependence of sedimentation rate on mollusks' age and mass and sexual differences of sedimentation activity were stated. Impact of several abiotic factors (suspension amount, temperature) on sedimentation activity of V. viviparus was analyzed.
