ABSTRACT
The influence of high concentrations of inorganic nitrogen on the structure and functioning of bacterioplankton and bacteriobenthos was studied in rather small artificial ponds. It has been found that a high content of inorganic nitrogen (Ninorg) in the water influences bacterioplankton and bacteriobenthos both directly and indirectly.
