ABSTRACT
Survey of biodiversity of the Ponto-Caspian relict fauna in the Danube catchment area suggests that its composition has been completed by 26 new species for the last quarter of the previous century. Among them, there are 8 species of copepods, 4 species of polychaetes, 1 species of leech, 1 species of gastropods, 4 species of amphipods, 2 subspecies of crayfishes, 4 species of cyclostomes, 1 species of gobies, and 1 species of sturgeons.
