ABSTRACT

A more refined list of macroinvertebrate species of the relict Ponto-Caspian complex of the lower reaches of the Danube River within the territory of Ukraine is given in the paper. Ecological characteristics of some representatives of this group, and also long-term changes in the structure of invertebrate complex occurring in this region, are discussed.
