ABSTRACT
This paper presents experimental data on the structure of turbulence, individual components of equations of turbulent transfer of heat and momentum in a recirculating region behind a backward-facing step the analysis of which made it possible to suggest a modified K-ε model of turbulence for low Reynolds numbers that is capable of modeling heat transfer and friction in complex recirculating flows.
