Mechanisms of Hydrodynamic Fragmentation of Inclusions in a Boiling-Up Disperse-Medium Flow

ABSTRACT

Various physical mechanisms of hydrodynamic fragmentation of dispersed-phase particles in the adiabatically boiling-up overheated emulsion flow have been considered. The dispersion degree of fragmented inclusions provided by the dynamics of a vapor bubble and transformation of the outflow pattern has been estimated based on the Weber and Bond criteria.
