Two-Phase Flow with Phase Transitions Instability

ABSTRACT

The paper presents the analysis of one-dimensional two-phase flow stability. The analysis is carried out using the continuty and momentum equations. Criteria determining the flow instability development are obtained. A model for two-phase flow boiling crisis is developed on the basis of the instability analysis.
