Reduction of Operation Parameters for Gas Turbines to Standard Values

ABSTRACT

The problems related to the reduction of gas turbine operation parameters to standard atmospheric conditions are discussed with account taken of variations in the thermal characteristics of the working medium and the air bleed-off in the course of operation. The methods of introducing the correction coefficients to the reduction formulas are proposed. These methods are based on the data provided by the bench tests of the gas turbine engines an on the numerical simulation of their operation.
