Nonstationary Crisis of Boiling of Liquids

ABSTRACT

A new physical model of boiling crisis with a fast increase of thermal power on the heating surface is presented. The time of transition to film boiling of liquids as a function of the heat flux density and pressure is calculated. The obtained results are in good agreement with the known experimental data.
