ABSTRACT

In the study, the model of heat exchange between the solid phase of a fluidized bed and an immersed surface is developed. The model is based on the conclusions got in the course of experimental analyzing and mathematical simulation of bed hydrodynamics when a horizontal tube is flown around by the bed. The results of the calculations using the suggested model are in agreement with the experimental data from the authors who tested the industrial fluidized bed combustors.
