ABSTRACT

The work is devoted to studying the possibility of developing cheap and efficient external aerials for Wi-Fi networks, using printing on a film-clad dielectric in the form of collinear microstrip antennas, representing a cophased antenna array of the vibrators, located along its longitudinal axis. The operation principle and calculations methods are discussed; the factors influencing the directional properties of collinear microstrip antennas are investigated. A series-shunt network for vibrators feeding, ensuring the stable position of the directional pattern maximum in the frequency band, is proposed. The numerical modeling of the antenna showing the possibility of its practical development is made. Design versions of the Wi-Fi antenna are provided.
