The conductivity is represented mathematically with Kolmogorov’s multiplicative cascade in three-dimensional space. The dimension of solution domain of the problem is considered to be large compared to the sizes of heterogeneities of the medium. The subgrid modeling approach, associated with problems of subsurface hydrodynamics, is presented. Theoretical results are compared to the results of direct 3D numerical modeling and results of conventional perturbation theory. |
