ABSTRACT

Natural convection heat transfer and fluid flow past an inclined semi-infinite plate embedded in a porous medium is investigated numerically. The governing equations are solved by a Nachtsheim-Swigert shooting iterating technique with a sixth-order Runge-Kutta integration scheme for different parameters involved in this study. The results are depicted in the form of velocity and temperature profiles. The results are also compared with the vertical and horizontal case. It is observed that velocity and temperature decrease by increasing the suction parameter. The velocity of the fluid decreases and the temperature increases with an increase in the porosity parameter.
