I would like to advise our readers of the JEHT web site. You can find it at http// journals/230/index.htm. Information you will find there are:

  1. Instructions to Authors: This describes the journal purpose, papers sought, and instructions for manuscript preparation. Under this URL are other useful information items, such as description of file conversion tools, and writing style manuals. You can also download a special utility file that will allow you to create special characters.
  2. The complete Table of Contents for Vols. 1−7.
  3. The Ingenta site (described there) allows you to read (free) the titles and abstracts of JEHT papers (as well as other journals). If you subscribe to the on-line version of the JEHT, this will give you access to the full text of JEHT articles through Ingenta. Presently, all issues for Vols. 5, 6, and 7 (1998, 1999, and 2000) are there. Subscribers to the JEHT can also subscribe to Ingenta for 15% of the print subscription cost. If you subscribe only to Ingenta, the online subscription cost is the same as a print subscription. Subscribers get a password, and libraries and institutions can get a site license. Issues for Vol. 8 should be there when you read this. The papers are in pdf format and you can save them to a file, or print them. You can also copy selected figures and use them in publications you are preparing.
  4. The page allows you to register for Scan First Alert, which is the Gordon and Breach e-mail notification service. When you register, you will be notified by e-mail of the Table of Contents of new issues of Enhanced Heat Transfer as information becomes available.
  5. Subscription information - both hard copy and on-line (Ingenta).
If you look at you will find instructions on how to submit your manuscript to the Journal by electronic means.
URL gives you the Author Warranty that must accompany all submissions to the Journal.
When your final manuscript is submitted to the publisher, it is handled on a "flow system". This means it is immediately scheduled for typesetting. After typesetting the galley proof is sent to you for proof reading. When the corrected galley is received back at the printer, the next step is to schedule it for publication. This "flow system" insures rapid publication of your work. Galley proofs are now being sent electronically (in PDF format) to authors, who have supplied their e-mail addresses with the manuscript. Also, note that the journal will publish color illustrations without charge to the authors.
