ABSTRACT

Traditional aggregation operators based on additive measures are invalid to aggregate the different alternatives under the set of criteria due to interdependent or interactive characteristics of the attributes. Thus, to approximate the human subjective decision-making process, it would be more suitable to enhance the fuzzy measure which will consider the dependency list of multiple decision-making criteria. This shortcoming has been overcome in the present manuscript by defining a new operational law and their corresponding interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy interaction correlated averaging operator. Further, an extension of the TOPSIS method is developed by combining the proposed operator with Choquet-based Hamming distance. An illustrative example has been given for demonstrating the approach.
