Interval Neutrosophic Muirhead Mean Operators and Their Application in Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making

ABSTRACT

In recent years, neutrosophic sets (NSs) have attracted widespread attentions and been widely applied to multiple attribute decision-making (MADM). The interval neutrosophic set (INS) is an extension of NS, in which the truth-membership, indeterminacy-membership and falsity-membership degree are expressed by interval values, respectively. Obviously, INS can conveniently describe complex information. At the same time, Muirhead mean (MM) can capture the interrelationships among the multi-input arguments, which is a generalization of some existing aggregation operators. In this paper, we extend MM to INS, and develop some interval neutrosophic Muirhead mean (INMM) operators, and then we prove their some properties and discuss some special cases with respect to the parameter vector P. Moreover, we propose two new methods to deal with MADM problems based on the proposed operators. Finally, we verify the validity of our methods by an illustrative example, and analyze the advantages of our methods by comparing with other existing methods.
