ABSTRACT

A preparation procedure of lead zirconate-titanate PbZrxTi1-хO3 is deduced from the investigation of the reactivity of РЬ(NО3)2 and of the zirconium-titanium mixed oxide ZrxTi1-хO2 (0.4 Ј x Ј 0.6) with molten alkali-metal nitrites. For the composition (x = 0.5), the obtained powders and ceramic bodies are characterized and some physical properties are considered.
