ABSTRACT

A review of possible types of contamination that can arise on turbine blade surfaces in gas turbine engines is given, and the existing methods of cleaning the above-mentioned parts being aircraft engine essential components are considered. Problems of formation of high-temperature contamination on turbine blade surfaces and complications arising during their elimination are described. Both advantages and disadvantages of the existing methods of cleaning turbine blade surfaces in gas turbine engines are considered, their analysis is performed, and recommendations on further solutions of the set problem are given.
