ABSTRACT

The influence of plasma spraying of powders, containing MoS2, CaF2, and graphite, on a composite powder consumption coefficient was investigated, and the parameters of a spraying procedure were optimized. Metallographic and X-ray phase analyses of deposited solid lubricant coatings were carried out. The results of studies made it possible to optimize technological parameters for pulsed plasma treatment of surface layers of composite gas-thermal coatings (NiCr + Cr3C2, NiCr + MoS2/CaF2 + TiC).
