DETERMINING ACOUSTIC EFFICIENCY OF MATERIALS AND STRUCTURES IN LABORATORY AND REAL CONDITIONS PART 1: SOUND ABSORPTION AND SOUND INSULATION
ABSTRACT
A complex of experimental studies to determine the sound-absorbing properties of aircraft seats and mineral fiber wedges of various densities was performed in the sound-measuring chambers of the AC-11 installation and on Yak-42 aircraft (AS-14 test bench). The sound transmission loss of the onboard aircraft structure of the AS-14 test bench and of the test panel of the AC-11 test bench was determined at various sound-insulating set options. It is shown that under conditions close to real, the effectiveness of sound-absorbing and sound-insulating materials and structures may differ significantly from the values obtained during testing in laboratory conditions.
