The effects of the magnetic field on the flow has been investigated for various parameters including the eccentric parameter, the modified Reynolds number and the square of the Hartmann number. The stream function and the pressure distribution are calculated. The results presented graphically reveal that the effect of magnetic field enhances the load carrying capacity of the journal bearing. |
