ABSTRACT
Heat transfer coefficients and hydraulic loss are determined by R-22 boiling inside the horizontal tubes with both internal longitudinal finning and straight finned insert from aluminium. Obtained data are compared with the results of coolant boiling in tubes with internal spiral finning and tubes with spiral finned insert. Simple way to enhance heat transfer in tube with internal longitudinal finning is tested and proposed.
