T1 Critical Sections of High-Moisture Two-Phase Flows JF Heat Transfer Research JO HTR YR 2001 FD 2001-07-01 VO 32 IS 4-6 OP 6 AB Different flow modes of highly wet two-phase media formed as a result of adiabatic expansion of liquids in nozzles and channels are considered. An experimental study included measurements of flow density distribution by an x-ray standard method along with measurements of retardation parameters, static pressure along the channel and photographing. An analysis of errors of the given method and apparatus improvements allowed one to minimize an error of measurement of vapor content in two-phase flows to 2-3%. The method makes it possible to obtain information about the fields of phase concentrations in both stationary and nonstationary two-phase flows.
To process the obtained experimental data we used a system of equations of a one-dimensional adiabatic motion of boiling-up liquid in a channel of a variable cross-section. PB Begell House LK https://www.dl.begellhouse.com/journals/46784ef93dddff27,384260715b68b952,0c23233212d3c45f.html
