The particle tracing software developed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH**) was used to analyze the visual images and to determine the volume portion of gas and liquid in a transparent section of a 9.525 mm i.d. tube. The void fraction was then calculated and compared with the experimental results from data collected on board the NASA KC-135 zero-gravity aircraft using a capacitance sensor.
