This combination allows increasing essentially the hydrogen yield of the system. Pine (90 wt.%) and oak (10 wt.%) were used for air gasification. Additional yield of hydrogen was provided by plasma-steam conversion of unreacted organic products after air gasifier. A technique for evaluation of the effect of plasma-steam conversion of air gasification products on an increase of hydrogen yield is developed. An air gasifier with a thermal capacity up to 5 kW and a plasma torch with electric power of 0.4−1.9 kW were used. If the plasma torch electric power was 1.1−1.4 kW, the increase of hydrogen yield in the fuel gas was 1.5−2.1 times compared to the fuel gas after the air gasifier.
