Dimensionless equations of heat exchange are obtained for water flow in tubes and in annular channels. These equations were used for estimating the effectiveness of heat transfer surfaces. The investigation of the structure of a turbulent swirled flow made it possible to explain the mechanisms of the enhancement of heat exchange in channels with flow swirling. %8 2000-03-01
