The numerical model was developed using a commercial code with three-dimensional Large Eddy Simulation (LES) being applied. The model was verified by experimental results. The numerical results enabled flow visualization which helped us understand the evolution of a synthetic jet between the synthetic jet actuator (SJA) and the onset of separation, which was not measured in the experiments.
