AB The article deals with intensity of the lipids synthesis and their qualitative composition in different cell structures of Chlorella vulgaris Beijer. under the
impact of Zn2+, Pb2+ and diesel fuel. Content of pigments (chlorophylls a and b, phaeopigments) increased under the impact of Zn2+, Pb2+, and decreased under the impact of diesel fuel. Content of lipids and their different classes in the cytoplasm fraction and chloroplasts varied dependently on the toxicant's nature.
Inclusion of 14C-acetate into different classes of lipids indicated replacement of the lipids synthesis from the chloroplasts to the cytoplasm structures. Number of chloroplasts increased, whereas their dimensions significantly decreased, especially under the impact of Zn2+, and to a less extent under the impact of diesel fuel.
