PART. 1: MAIN TYPES OF LAMINAR−TURBULENT TRANSITION IN A SWEPT-WING BOUNDARY LAYER %U https://www.dl.begellhouse.com/journals/58618e1439159b1f,574b9aaa08177e55,4cdf1c4b00faed4d.html %V 44 %X A review of theoretical and experimental investigations of the laminar−turbulent transition in a swept-wing boundary layer is presented. The validity of the results obtained for development of transition prediction methods suitable for flight conditions and wind-tunnel tests is analyzed. Particular attention has been given to boundary-layer receptivity to free-stream disturbances. The receptivity problem is of outstanding importance for correct computation of the transition location. %8 2013-08-13
