PULSE SHAPE TRANSFORMATION UNDER BRAGG STRUCTURES IRRADIATION

Transformation of the shape of pulses reflected and transmitted by the Bragg mirror, resonators, and structures with chip variation of thickness of the "period" is considered for the condition when the carrier frequency lies in the vicinity of the Bragg resonance frequency. The delay time integral and differential estimates have been compared. The skewness and kurtosis coefficients were calculated for the reflected and transmitted pulses of various versus carrier frequency position within the Bragg reflection band. The conditions for the appearance of negative center-of-mass group delay of the reflected pulses have been determined. These group delay values have been experimentally obtained for the layered structures with small chirp variation along longitudinal coordinate of optical (electrical) thickness of the "period".
